The transformation of the rear axle.
Cleaned outside and inside and various parts renewed.
There are more new parts ready to be completed again.

The sheet work will be made as smooth as possible, so a minimum of filler will be necessary.

Well,
I think Eric's parts are already non-yellow cad (or zinc) plated.

The brake adjusting plates had to be fixed at the pins again.
I made a tool to press the spring together with the plate in position.
After welding I grinded off the excess material.
And finally put this side in the paint.

I've been working on assembly of the front brakes.
The RH back side of the car is already smooth, the LH side is in progress but nearly ready.

All dents from the body have been removed now.
But like the trunk lid, the bonnet is also pretty dented.

I don't know what the cause was, it was done before I bought it and filled with bondo.  :-\

Well, I do not want to ruin the party or appear not polite, but... you might want to check Technical Manual on Tool Set.

I cleaned a lot of parts of the dashboard which were covered with MB-Tex.
Now I will try to find new MB-Tex (or similar) with the color code 2102 (white gray).

Hi Eric,

Maybe you should have a look at https://cabrio.de/en/interiors-khm/genuine-leather-interiors
They sell Leather (dashboard coverings) in all official w113 colors.
