Great job, will you repaint in 332G?
Also good news that you found someone to repair the hood and trunk. I thought that impossible, how was it done?
Thanks for the ongoing pics.

Hi, we still are not sure about the color.
It can become 906G or 396G, but we have to see these colours in daylight before we decide.

The dents in the hood and doors have been done completely by hand with some heat and knocking.
Old-fashioned handicraft.
The trunk has received a new top layer, made to the right size.
Again something else.

very nice. Must be a good size investment with all of that chrome. Both blues are beautiful, but I definately agree that you havr to see them in person.  Pictures can be deceiving in different light.

Mine was 332g also. I was thinking if there was a colour similar but metallic.

This is a nice color and for originality of the car is it not better to use the original color, also for the interior?

For originality yes, but for our taste of colors no.
It's a car which I keep for myself, so we will try to choose the most favourite color for us.
The color 332 G we find a bit too dark.

Now it's time for restoring of the foldable roof.
It has several rusty spots and bad rubber.
I started with removing the dirt and glue remains.

What has happened?

Not much, that's the problem.  ;D
The car is ready for painting but the painter is much too busy.
I have done several small jobs, but not interesting enough for pictures.

Finally some news from this project again.
Together with several small parts I bought this steering wheel.
I only had to repaint the wood with clear varnish.

Is this original glass?

Finally some action, although it is not yet known when Pagoda is fully sprayed.
Just must have patience.

Waiting for the paint shop, I did a useful job.
The fuel pump was full of dirt, so I cleaned it and reassembled with new seals.

The Texas sun had seriously damaged the instruments and the inside was not really clean anymore.
They are now completely cleaned, adjusted, lubricated and equipped with new glass and new seals and chrome rings.

I bought an airco set, but found out I probably only can use the dashboard unit.
So it's time take take apart this unit to to refurbish.
A lot of dust and rust inside, so enough to do.
