I have not seen one in more than a year, and I do about 40K km/yr of driving. Does anyone know how many are actually still on the road?

This past Sunday on my way home from church. About 1:00pm heading into Grand Haven, a 'off-white' / beige 113 pasted me. First one I've ever seen in town besides mine. Very nice looking car too.

On Wednesday last week,I was in a basement parking lot in Dusseldorf(in the Alstad)There I saw a georgeous black 230sl,roof down,just waiting for someone to notice her.Armed with only my trusty Nokia cell phone camera,I went about taking some great pictures.Low and behold,two days later,I lost my cell phone,in a pub!So you guys will just have to believe me!

I know it's not a pagoda but it's still an SL:

300SL Roadster driving into Wandsworth (SW London) on the A3.

Silver, blue roof (raised).

Beauty.

Probably wouldn't have made it through Wandsworth unscathed however, so look out on ebay for 300 SL parts any time soon...

hey i'm new to the site, but having a blast with my 68 280sl driving around nyc. people look at me as a cross between james bond and tiger woods (pre-affair). considering i'm a newbie, where do you guys have any shows, or meets in the northeast? promise to leave my gold clubs at home...

Last Saturday we had 3 Pagodas at the beautiful Mar Vista in Sarasota...a warm mostly sunny day with a breeze. We lunched on the beach under big trees. Into the parking lot pulled a nice white 190SL, which we had to admire. We would have had more cars, but goodcompany and tobaccobrown280 arrived without theirs because they came from the rainy north. We hope to get together again in March during the best weather of the year!

Several times this summer saw a powder blue Pagoda driving around in Southold, NY. Was never able to talk to the owner, but as I only see the car during summer months must assume that it belongs to someone who only vacations in our area. Aside from that sighting, haven't seen a 230/250/280SL on the road for several years, not even the ivory 280SL belonging to my neighbor which is only visible if he leaves tha garage door open.

Two more Pagodas recently appeared on the local scene. A red with black and a green with black , both 280SLs. A former Maserati Dealer here in Central Ohio owns the red one and is selling the green one. The green one is owned by the former owner of a MB dealership here in Columbus. The have both been is storage for some time. They are both in very nice condition.

Yesterday in San Luis Obispo I saw a silver 280SL with dark blue hard topdriving southbound on Hwy101. This is only the 3rd sighting I have had on the Central Coast of California in the last year and a half. I still get chills everytime.
