fuel pump

Initially after I re-built mine (tall pump) it would run but did not pump. I pre-primed it (poured fuel into it) and worked all good after that, worth a try before you do anything else

Ended up buying aftermarket pump from buds benz(a little disappointed they ground off the nameplate!).
In 40 years the car has never started better.

The nameplate was grounded off, so you can't google it and find out what it would have cost somewhere else. What are you going to do with your old short style pump?

Welcome to the forum!  Good first post, and link.     Also, our very own Bob Youngman rebuilds pumps.  You (we?) may be able to cross-shop with him.  I don't know if he supplies rebuild kits or if he just performs rebuild services.

I don't sell kits..too many variables. I am more than willing to answer any questions butI have the testing and other equipment all set up in my home shop
 And yes I do rebuilds.
