Tank to fuel pump
« on: September 13, 2025, 17:34:18 »
Checking to see if the tank to fuel pump hoses is correct. My photos from when I stripped the car down isn't very good at all.

It looks normal, I think... I have an in-line fuel filter installed on it. You need to have at least a screen in the pump fitting. I usually see the fuel lines have fabric lining, so you may need to make sure if the hose you have is a fuel hose and not some generic hose.

The other hose, pump to fuel line, is attached to the floor with a clamp (picture).

The hoses are different diameters for each attachment point, so what you’ve done looks right. The pump is facing the right direction, only thing missing is a fuel return line clamp. Also make sure there is no interference with the axle when the car is on the ground.
