VIN and PAINT plate reproductions

Hi guys,

The body shop that restored my car unfortunately lost the VIN and paint plates of my 1966 230SL.

There was a thread by "66andBlue" about this issue but that was in 2012 (!!) and, no surprise, the link given in the thread is not working anymore.

Do you know if it is still possible to make those reproductions, and if so, who can I contact?

"Cees Klumper", for the authenticclassic  VIN plate I guess they don't do engraving, specially the way MB was doing it.
All I'd have to do next is to find an old-fashioned engraver....not easy. Any clues?

"WRe" & "Jack the knife" do you have ordered VIN plate also from them? Seems they do perfect engraving for the Paint plate, that would solve my VIN engraving problem....Kill two birds with one stone!

Yes, Mehmet's plate is in my car. Couldn't have had a better experience.
