Door glass removal what are these ?

Hi I bought this 230sl with a smashed drivers side window.

Taken off door card and see these circled ?

What are they?

Also there was no rear door glass guide even in the bottom of the door where all the smashed glass was

Any help appreciated as I thought there should just be screws here??

Those I believe are the glass upper bump stops.

it might help you to read the window adjustment procedure here:

And since you have access now you could replace the wrong rear view mirror with the correct 230SL mirror.
