Clamp steering column lost
« on: January 15, 2022, 16:33:00 »
Two years ago I brought many parts to a company which did yellow passivating.
I made pictures from all the parts before I brought them and afterwards, but didn't check good enough.
Unfortunately now I realise I miss the clamp from the steering column.  :(
It can't be bought at SLS or Niemöller.
Does anybody have the dimensions from it so I can make it myself?
Thank you in advance.

Again something else.

Can you use a coat hangar to approximate the length and fit it?

I will make something myself indeed, I didn't get the dimensions (yet).

The strap is 30 mm wide, 178 mm long to the heads of the bolts, which are 8 mm  X 70 mm long

Thank you!
I saw that one bolt is longer than the other, but that makes sense when you see the mounting holes in the dashboard.
