Thanks !
It did run , but needed to be fined tuned and some work done to it . My restorer transported it to his shop in Leesburg. It has 68k on it and we are keeping everything as original as possible .

What shop in Leesburg works on these cars? I live in Leesburg :)

Yes congrats on the Pagoda!  What is the official colour designation of the "Red".  Was it the original colour?  Looks great!

Yes MS616, Welcome.

You will find members here to be approachable, very knowledgeable and competent, and generous with their time and expertise. Being a member for less than a year, I am consistently surprised with the spirit and passion the members have for these cars.

The technical information within the site is expansive. I suggest you take a few hours per week and just browse and explore. I promise you will wowed by the amounts of effort invested.
Regards,
Tom

Interestingly, my 230 is color designated as Singal Red also.  Your color appears considerably deeper and darker than does mine,  I like it.  I suppose it could be the lighting or is it possible, which I seriously doubt,  that there is a variation in the color from 230 to 280 in a standard MB color?  Do any members have an opinion on this?

I noticed the dealership that sold the vehicle adds a bit of high gloss touch to all their photos. I'll post natural photos soon.
