Cylider Head Bolts - Do They Need Sealer
« on: August 18, 2020, 22:45:56 »
Does anyone know if the block holes that receive the cylinder head bolts are dead ended, or do the cylinder head bolts needs sealer?  I have looked at BBB and did not find any specific information about this.

Thank you,

My experiences with rebuilding engines , No to any sealer.
I could be wrong with an SL engine.

I believe all are blind holes.  I use a bit of oil on the threads and on the washers under the heads of the bolts.
