Na, Christian...,
It won't. Not too far definitely. ;)
A mere 1'300 kms, not more.
You can do that in 13 - 15 hrs, depending how fast you're going.
Two tank stops, that's it. If you drive carefully, one tank-stop.
Your Pagoda can stand that - for sure.
So, you should be doing so too. ;)

Cheers,
Achim

(never did more than 1'200 kms per day before with the Pagoda)

Wel Achim i don't know what kind of Hybrid Pagoda you drive but mine certainly needs more than 2 tank stops on 1300 km  :)

Dear Rick,
Well, in contrast to me and the other 230 folks with only a 65 liters gas tank,
yours has got 82 litres filling volume.
Given your carefull and considerate touring, a consumption of about 11 litres/100 km this makes 77 litres per 700 kms.
Two fills will carry you at least 1300 (- 1400 kms)  ;) ;D  ;D
Not so with us 230 folks...; we need to fill up more often. ??? ::)

Looking very happily very much forward to further news on the Event.

Best,
Achim

Given your carefull and considerate touring,

Achim, you ARE talking about the same Rick I know?  ;D ;D ;D
He typically drives like me. During rallies, I use ~13.5 liters/100 km. On the trip down to France (more leisurely) I still used ~12.5 liters/100km, max 8km/liter.

By the way, I've never ever been able to fill up more than 68.5 liters. Either I'm scared to go empty, or my fuel gage is non-linear, or I have a (big) dent in my tank...

Hi Peter
The shallow tank you get not much more pure; but have about 6 liters available when the lamp is lit up.

Pagoda Euro Event 2020

Dear Members and wannabe attendees ,

We are pleased to announce that we have a destination ;

Bavaria in the south of Germany

Peter already gave us a taste but we think we have found, and confirmed, the place for our event.
Bavaria is right up our alley, and it tics all the boxes.
If we think Bavaria we say…. beer, folklore, tradition, leather hoses etc etc .

When do we go  : Arrival the 25th, and departure the 28th of september 2020
So a bit different then earlier events, we arrive on Friday and leave on Monday.

We will contact the signed up attendees with a personal mail, which wil give you the details
and where to pay your deposit .

We are very happy with what we accomplished on such a very short notice, and hope you all will enjoy it as you did on previous events. For the comming year we will have the task of finding nice stops and landmarks to vist . We might even have a tour in which we pass the German Austrian border , so winding roads and great driving is included. But we will not forget the special

And off course thanks to our loyal attendees for their great and enthusiastic response .

We will try to expand our Event with a few more places but at the moment we have no guarantee for that, so we do have to stay at 30 teams for now . So signing up is still a good idea if you want to join .

More info will follow …

Greetings from

Excellent!

Let's see ... Bavaria in late September, driving German cars, drinking German beer (separately, of course!) ...

Octoberfest! Coincidence? I think not.

The dates for Oktoberfest 2020: Saturday, September 19th – Sunday, October 4th.

I'd better get my right arm in shape for some serious stein-lifting so I can keep up with Jon.

Hello Rick and all,

I thought that Euro Event 2020 will not be announced before the end of Pagodafest.
What a big mistake.
Will it be possible to be on the reserve list (Laurette and me) ?

Dear Euro Event attendees ,

Yes it has been a bit quiet lately , but we are happy to inform you all that we are on track.
Deposits are all in and our accommodation is booked solid.

I was a bit stressed for time last couple of months but i will send a confirmation to everyone who payed the deposit.
Please be patient …i will get back to you with a personal message , if … you have given me you email address that is.
So again send us you normal Email address. We don't want to overstress our Pagoda site when sending bigger files or programs over to the attendees.

Further more a few places opened up , so i will reach out to the members on the reserve list.

Wishing everyone : Happy holidays , and hope seeing you all in good health at our 5th Euro Event in 2020.
