windshield wiper

The windshield wiper on the driver's side has stopped rotating.  Has anyone had this problem?

can hear the motor running?  Maybe feel it in the engine compartment?

Or remove the glovebox and see if anything is turning?

If the passenger side is working then the motor must be working so it is either the spindle on the driver's side or the linkage on the driver's side to investigate.Remove the wiper arm and see if the spindle is still connected.
You could remove the glove box and have a look to see if the linkages loose anywhere.

Whoops. Sorry Rod.  I misread your post.  I didn't realize the passenger side was working. Its not the relay 🤪

Possibly the linkage has disconnected. If so the cause may be a stuck spindle or just a worn linkage socket.

mine did the same thing. Stuck spindle for the driver side. Only solution for me was to pull the dash apart to remove the mechanism which I was doing anyways as part of my restoration. I tried lubricating the spindle from the outside with no luck.
