1960s Mercedes mens traveling vanity case.

Anybody ever seen one of these Mercedes vanity kits before or anything like it ?
Its very nice quality and would of been very useful back in the day when these things were popular.
Mercedes still do sell men's vanity shaving kits and the like , this may well be be the only one left from the 60s ,you never know. A very beautiful item and quite possibly super rare.
It's side by side with a service booklet pouch to give it a scale.

I bought it on e bay last week.
It was down as a" travelling vanity case for Mercedes benz cars " so would of gone under the radar of anyone searching Mercedes specific items.
Had the seller put the heading as"Mercedes SL pagoda travelling vanity case" it would of got a whole lot more interest.
I was the only bidder, there's a good write up in the advert where it says its from an SL pagoda , the guy sells other genuine and exquisite auto memorabilia items from Bentleys and Rolls so he knows his subject..
You have to get lucky once in a while i guess and it was my turn.
