I have a 71' 280sl. I'm not sure what I want to do with her. My dad bought her in 74 or 75 from the original owner, I bought her from him in 98.
62,005 miles and she sits in the garage, I had her repainted about 10 years ago and have only put on about 1K-1.5k miles in that time. I took her out of the garage today for some pics. I think 113's are one of the nicer looking cars out there, I am just too concerned something is going to happen. I also miss the way my old long hood 911 drove not that I drive my cars much
So I am deciding if I should sell her or I reup my insurance and put some Olson type springs on to tighten her up a bit. So i am looking at two values what would be reasonable in this market and what should I put on for insurance value?
the soft top is as correct as can be found (took 3 years and a trip to Germany).
