Door jamb trim/seal
« on: December 07, 2008, 17:57:18 »
I believe that it's Part #105 that is missing on my car and is NLA. I think it's a trim/weather/noise seal. I think that because mine are missing, there is a wide gap between the door jamb and the front edge of the door when viewed from inside the cabin. Their absence may also be the source of some wind noise and rain leak problems that I'm trying to solve.
I'd like to see if I can get them made. Does anyone know if they are rubber or are they rolled vinyl/leather? They seem to attach to the same chrome strips that hold the dash covering and side kick panels , and go from the top of the door jamb down to the the rocker panel coverings. Thanks.

I think you are talking about some piping material.  Here is a pic.

Awolf,

I think I purchased mine from Millers or K&K.  It is MBtex stitched around hard rubber.

Good luck.
