300D TurboDiesel in a W113 ?

Two days ago I saw a w113 and the trunk lid on the left had 300D and on the right TurboDiesel....I have never seeing anything like that on a w113 convertible.  Did they make them or did this guy modify his car?

No of course they didn't make them.

We have our own Walter Klatt here, though, who has put a 220D engine in his and has the 220SL-D or is i D-SL.

The _real_ question is how Walter is going to feel about someone having a 300D Turbo Diesel pagoda in contrast to his 220 Diesel Pagoda...   Walter?  Are you OK with this, or are we going to have to get tough with this 300D person....  :-)  Scott (very much wanting to go for a ride in Walter's car)
