Ford 302 in a Pagoda
« on: October 08, 2008, 03:35:22 »
For those who think about "what if" engine changes, here's a Pagoda with a Ford 302 engine. It's not a stealth change as it also has a tricked up dash and a V8 trunk badge.

What type of hood hinge is that?  No fire wall pad.  Too many changes for me.

Looks to me like they eliminated the torsion bar assembly (probably with a lot of cussing) and installed some kind of scissors hinge and looks like some kind of prop-stick.  Hey when one messes around like this you can do anything.  I'm surprised they didn't hinge it at the back like a normal American car! ;)

Too bad about the dash, wheels, and v-8 badge...

The wheels can be fixed.  I'd black out the oval face of the dash to reduce reflected light.

The suspension is fascinating.  I would indeed like to test drive that.

The engine setup is first rate and looked the part however the interior and wheels look totaly out of place.  This could have been a great custom job but missed the mark.
