Had lunch today with a relatively new member of the group (fscanlon) and his blue 280 SL as well as my blue 230 SL on the grounds of the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan.

Nice, and your car looks very similar color extenal and interior, I think tthey refered to as parchment, it would be good to see the inside colors closer.  fscanlon 's blue is another variation of blue, I realise in some lights hard to see

I alway liked that midnight blue that your and my pagoda share.   In some lights people tell you have a black car.  Looks like a nice day trip

cheers rob

Meeting up with other members and their cars is the best of times!  If you're a Full Member, you can look here for fellow members near you.  https://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?action=mlist  You can hopefully PM or email them and plan some local get-together of a few cars.

I have used the member search in the past, but haven't had much time to meet up with others locally. That would be a good idea though.

Fscanlon's car is a metallic blue. I am not sure what the color code is. He had it repainted from the original green it was when his grandmother owned the car.

My car is the original color 332 dark blue, my mom's favorite color, but of course it has been restored and repainted. The interior is 221 white grey and the carpet is creme. Here are a few pictures.
