Would love to get everyone's input on this car.  From what I've been told it's a numbers matching, zero rust, no accident car.  The main issue I have with the car is the correct interior per the Data Card is black MB Tex.  The interior was completely redone in red leather, including dash, boot lid, door panels, carpet, etc.  How would this impact the value or affect the "correctness" of this car?  What would you expect the value of this car to be?

Hey Nate. It might eventually be worth taking a trip down south (if seller cooperates). I'd want to look it over carefully -- despite the rosy write-up. The pics do look nice... maybe ask for a few undercarriage shots from the seller. So far the bidding price (15k) is in the "great deal" range in my opinion... that will likely change. If the reserve is not met by say 28-30, I'd have someone take a look before going past that. Just my 2 cents.

If this car looks as good in person as it does in the pictures it will probably go for a hefty price, maybe over $30K.  The color of the interior will probably not affect the value if it is well executed.  Not sure about the carpet though.  I can't get a good look at it but the color seems to clash with the .  That't just a personal prefernce item though.  It probably needs a new steering wheel.

I can't comment on this particular car but I called by this sellers home workshop once when I lived in LA (in 2001) & wasn't too impressed by the restorations they were doing at the time.
