Fuel Injection Pump Calibration

The fuel injection pump in my 1969 280 sl needs calibration. As this service is not available in Dubai could any one suggest where this service is available in Germany or the U.S.

Jerry Fairchild in California came highly recomended. My injector pump is on its way back. I should be able to comment on his workmanship in a couple of weeks. I can say he was very easy to work with and was very reasonably priced.

Also on the West Coast: Pacific Fuel Injection 153 Utah Avenue, South San Fransisco. 650-588-8880  I think H&R is the expert on the east coast, but I don't know their contact info.

The idle speed is rich and after making all other adjustments my mechanic (he had worked 30 years at DB and now has his workshop) says that the fuel injection pump needs calibration.He has recommended not to do it locally.

I got a reply by e mail from Carolyn Day of Tower Bridge Diesels that they do not have the equipment to do this job. I tried to call them but the number does not seem be active.
