Italy Pagoda Tour 2025
« on: Today at 05:48:13 »
We recently completed a four-day tour of Tuscany, hosted by Nostalgic.de.  I have got to say, it was a first class experience all the way, albeit at the first class price of $6600 for two people.  This included the driving, the hotel, breakfasts, one dinner, one cocktail hour, and the wine tasting.

We were met at the Florence airport and taken to an amazing hotel, the Borgo Scopeto.  After a couple of hours to unwind, were were introduced to the cars, and took a short drive the Chiantishire for a wine tasting.  The second day was a drive to Pienza.  Third day to Volterra.  Fourth day to Siena and transportation back to the Florence airport.

There were eleven cars, six 113s and five 107s.  I drove a 250sl automatic, a 280sl 4-speed, a 230sl 4-speed, and a 107 300sl.  All of the cars were good cosmetically and mechanically, but there was a spare 107 on a trailer, just in case.

We were accompanied by two vans, Walter (Nostalgic's owner), and Nostalgic staff Finn and Paul who were.  Everyone was incredibly helpful.

Cheers,

CT

Chuck—sounds AMAZING
Maybe you can share the photos at PagodaFest. I’m sure many people would love to see them! I know I would.
