Lunch at Cecconi’s
« on: July 25, 2025, 08:40:34 »
I went outside 4 times yesterday and got rained on three times. One of them took me along Burlington Gardens (behind Piccadilly in that London) and spotted this, wholly illegally parked outside Cecconi’s

Restored, 280 manual with a burgundy colour interior. Looked stunning.

A scene just like this, but in Geneva in 1992 where I was vacationing with my then-girlfriend, tipped me towards 'someday' buying a Pagoda. In the Summer, also illegally parked next to a fashionable restaurant terrace, looking ever so cool.
7 years later I did get mine.
I wonder how many guys/gals this London spotting inspired to 'someday' get theirs.
