Hill Climbing Pagoda

I spotted this 1 family owned 1969 280SL w/ manual trans at the Bellefontaine Hill Climb Revival yesterday.  I didn't get a chance to meet the owner, but JA17 knows him and said his father bought the car new.  He had a painter's tape #11 on the doors, so he was competing.  The course is a .6 mile drive up "corkscrew hill".  This was a "real" competition from 1955 to 1975, revived in 2018.
