Soft top tension cables
« on: February 20, 2024, 20:46:14 »
Hello, I would like to make sure that the soft top tension cables will be fitted correctly.

Please check the attached pictures and kindly comment about the cable's routing.

Does it look properly fitted?

Best regards,
Savvas

The cables are fed through the soft-top canvas. Are you aware of that?

It is also important how the wires go down the pillar through their holes and channels:

One of the important topics I learned: do not ignore the elastic straps. Without them soft top will not work properly. Material in pdf enclosed.

Finally: it is easy to pull the big springs by hand (wearing a thick glove to protect your skin) when you set the rear bottom part of soft top at 45deg angle and support it or have someone hold it. You do not need anything elaborate to pull it then.
