250 TALL PUMP
« on: October 27, 2023, 07:01:12 »
I have a small fuel leak from the vent pipe on my original tall pump
I have looked at the exploded diagram of the pump in the technical manual
Would it be No 34 the sliding packing ring that is causing the problem?

Thanks, Sead. This Item I searched, too but did not find. I replaced the rotating packing into a standard shaft seal ring. The Problem is, if the sealing counterpart in the pump housing is bad, the pump will be leaking anyway. This part only helps you if this is the problem. A rotating packing seal contains always two parts. The static one in the housing and the rotating one on the shaft. Talk soon, Martin
