It was that weekend again and I managed to wander the Saturday car park in the heat (31degrees)

And in the auction, a 230 with a 280 engine (& mirrors and wheel trims) sold for £80,000

Hi James,

I can lay claim to the second one.

A fantastic day as always, but omg was it hot, certainly felt more than 31.

Spent most of the day undercover in the grandstands, then on Sunday loads of rain but still hot. British weather ahh.

Great racing, spectacular fire in a multi million pound Cobra !

Interestingly, the 1957 Maserati 250S that won the Freddie March Memorial Trophy actually drove to the circuit on public roads that morning, I was following it round the lanes.
That's Goodwood for you, driving your own historic race car to the track in the morning and home again that night, brilliant.

I love your centre console. Tell me more !

I was opposite the pit wall when "Chandok's" Ferrari GTO had it's fire. The sharp inhalation of breath from everyone was a noise to behold... And huge skill from him to get it off the track etc
