fuel supply line in engine bay 23
« on: July 07, 2023, 09:04:50 »
Hello

I am trying to see if my fuel pump works (after 15 years of not running). I want to disconnect the supply line in the engine bay.. Which one is it and which one is the return line? Sorry for the amateur question!

I am not a mechanic, but I would have thought fuel supply goes from the pump to the fuel filter.

If you have a 230SL with the FI Pump that has the separate oil reservoir, I would empty that (suck out through the dipstick hole) and replace with fresh oil before running the FI pump.
