hardtop for 230SL or hardtop chrome and seal set
« on: July 05, 2023, 08:19:16 »
Hello

I am looking to buy a hardtop (complete) or alternatively a chrome and seal set for an existing top that is missing these.

Thanks

Hemal

I can probably sell you a complete chrome set but I'm in the UK and shipping would be problematic.

Hi how much would that be? Do you also have the rubber set? I may be travelling to the UK and could collect it and ship myself ? Thanks

Probably best to contact me directly via my website.
Some of the chromes are pretty big.....
The rubbers I would only buy direct from Mercedes.

I am happy to hear confirmation of what I would do from an expert - buy rubber from Mercedes directly...

For hard top you have there almost all you need:

A 113 795 12 22 front window frame top seal
A 113 670 00 39 rear window seal

A 113 725 19 66 side window seal left
A 113 725 20 66 side window seal right

A 113 795 03 65 small window seal left
A 113 795 04 65 small window seal right

The issue is with the rear bottom seal    A 113 790 00 83. It has a price now of about EUR 1000. I remember I ordered it as it was reasonably prices (like the other seals), but when it arrived it was with EUR 1000 price tag and the price in the price list changed. I think it may be a mistake (which I told the dealer) as the translation of part name is odd, but the price was prohibitive to me. I bought one from SLS.

When I priced hardtop seals from the classic center last year, it was $670 US for the rear seal. If I recall, they told me their price was $550.

I elected to get a repro from K&K
