Glove box light removal

Hi.. is there a trick to getting this off..
glove box light.. I can’t see how without damaging the chrome?

I think the bezel on the outside of the door screws off..

Good question Brennie.

Since the bezel is crome and its on the outside of the door my assumption is that you've tried to unscrew it but there is nothing on it which might provide a grip.

 No doubt pliers will do the job but not without damaging the surface.

I look forward to any other advice on this.

Brennie if you look closely at the side of the chrome ring you'll see holes for a special tool. But you can tape the jaws of some vice grips to protect the chrome and very carefully set just enough pressure on to grip it and unscrew it.......thats how I did mine....
