Automatic Transmission Flywheel
« on: May 04, 2023, 23:35:16 »
Good evening,

Are flywheels from other cars from the same era (108, 111) as the 113 compatible with a 113 engine.  I have an M130 engine that has the flywheel for a manual transmission and I would like to replace the fly wheel with 1 for an automatic transmission after balancing. The part number that I have seen referenced is 108 030 0705, but I have also seen examples with the part number108 032 0601 listed as a Pagoda part. Secondly, if anyone has a decent example for sell, I am interested in purchasing. Thanks for the help.

Hello Eddie,
With the M130 engine the flywheels will interchange with no problems. Only the attachment bolt to the crankshaft are different. Also you will need to remove the centering bearing in the crankshaft to convert to automatic, where no centering bearing is used (just remove and delete).  I have at least a dozen good used ones lying around if you need one PM me and I'll make you a good deal for the flywheel, ring gear and attachment bolts !
