1970 280SL turn signal wiper arm
« on: April 07, 2023, 03:02:08 »
Hello group, I'm looking for a useable turn signal arm, switch, and wiper switch for a left handed steering column. I guess I could also have mine rebuild if there is a service. Mine is taped up and the way it was when I purchased my 280SL. A used arm would be best.

Hello Tim

There's a member/Vendor on here that sells refurbished switches, or will refurbish yours, just the postage charges that may be an issue, worth asking them

There have also been various posts about how to repair them, if you're up to it, have a search for wiper switch, or blinker/indicator switches, also a good write up in  the tech manual

Thanks again BobH for the lead. I will surely attempt to repair mine and if that fails I might have it restores, otherwise I'll see what Tony has to offer. Thanks for the reply guys.

I bought a repro few years ago, but man they sure have gone up in price.

WOrks okay.

I think a rebuild of your's is a better option.
