Data card shows three colors

I received my data card today with the 3 color codes:

158H White Grey Exterior Paint
135   Dark Blue Vinyl Interior
746   Brown Cloth top Convertible top

It seems like an unusual color combination, does anyone else have this trio of colors? Also, my car came without the radio however is did have the interface suppression, does that include the power antenna?

Regarding the radio, the option code for the antenna would be box 53.

I personally think that is a great color combo -- subtle.

I think the paint would go fine with either the interior or top, but not both.  I'd put a blue top on it, or a tan/brown interior.  Which ever needs replaced first.

I would love to get the data card for my '65. Can you tell me how you acquired yours, as it sounds as if you had to request it from Germany, or???

Three colors: An interesting combination is always noteworthy.  Don't change a thing.  As you get more involved, you will see  the value of keeping everything "as built"

Thanks for your replies everyone. I believe in originality and that's where the value is. I think the three colors are pretty cool and I will bring it back to original once I get it running. The previous owner burned up the alternator wiring by switching the battery cables. At this point, getting it running is my first priority. The data card is a great tool for bringing these cars back to factory specs.

I would think most cars have 3 colors. The body color is different from the upholstery color and so is the soft-top color, considering that most soft-tops were black. If you have a '2-tone" exterior, i.e.: a different hard-top color from the body color, you could have 4 colors.

It's possible you're misreading it or it's a mistake.  Do you have a picture of the data card?

Thanks BobH, I most certainly will have a data card reproduced for my car. I love these kind of creative behaviors that make the hobby so much more fun. It looks like he reproduces several items. Thanks for the lead.

I received the new data card today and its perfect in all details. I would highly suggest the investment. It comes with three cars, one with the key numbers blacked out, all three have the back side included and are very clear and correct in every way. Wonderful offering.

Mike,  i don't think he's surprised that there are three colors, but what they are.  Grey-white, blue, and brown is probably not many people's first choice combination, or even fifth.  Same could be said for my car.
