Interesting ‘project’ for renovation

Spotted this Frankenstein of a 230SL for sale on a well know auction site. Goodness knows what the owner was thinking of, and what are those awful wheels which are just an abomination to put on such a lovely car.

Obviously the taste police must of been away on holiday when this snuck out!

Someone seems to have stomped on the roof taking away the conave shape.
