We decided on a Toyota Highlander.  Car gets reasonably good mileage, sits up pretty high for visibility and can carry a good bit of luggage, etc. for longer trips.  We've had the car for about 9 months and are very pleased.  She will not let me drive the car so I can't tell you how it drives.

So you're not allowed to drive her car?  Just out of curiosity, is she allowed to drive one of your Pagodas? ;)

Toyota Prius                     $2.28*                 15,000

If Your reason for buying a HB car to help your wallet more than the enviroment check out this analysis released  by automotive consumer Web site Edmunds.com Because of the hight sales price, INSURANCE COST and other expenses of most HB. Edminds says that during the first five years of ownership a HB can cost as much as $5,283 more than its non-HB counterpart. See break even point. Only the Prius HB with the company Camery sedan did the Prius owner come out ahead by just $81.00.

Also remember that a lot of towing companies will touch a HB after accident beacuse of the voltage and possible of electrial shock.

MY choice 86-92 190E 4cyl. SAFE!
