I wanted to call him to find out how it all worked out after 15 years, but it seems he sadly passed away about 4 years ago. I then found the discussion here from 2019 on that. A shame. He seems to have been a very talented man (and with some
very nice restorations that have been posted here).
Would anyone know whatever became of this project? Was an article ever written in Pagoda World?
