113 door strikers
« on: September 22, 2022, 03:42:03 »
Hi all
I'm still looking for 4-hole, 55mm B-post door strikers. ( L+R)  Sometimes called 'catches'.  I believe that these are also identical on 107 models.  Anyone know of a rusty/damaged 107 being dismantled, or know of any 113 strikers?  thanks.

Hi - thanks for your reply.
SLS '113 inclined' strikers have been out of stock for ages, except for the very late 107 type - which, although difficult to determine from the SLS illustration, appears different as the receiving hole is parallel with the mounting holes and it does not have the 'inclined' shape, and has a different upper face, though I am sure that the mounting holes would pick up.
I am doubtful that it would be ok.  Earlier 107 types as on my 1980 107, look to be the same inclined type.  Ideally, I would like a pair of four-hole 113 strikers but would risk trying a pair from an earlier 107.

Thanks Bob - Amazing!   Not exactly cheap for S/H stuff is it?  But might have to go there if nothing else turns up..
