My nephew in the family 280
« on: September 15, 2022, 18:58:17 »
Taken this weekend in Rhode Island.  He's the third generation to drive this car.  It was his grandmother's, who got it back in 1969.

Keeping the next generation(s) involved and interested is fantastic. My son has inherited my 500SEC (and will soon inherit the insurance premium) and I am quite certain that he become the next custodian of my 280SL and 220SE convertible. I am hopeful that at least one of my grand children will follow your nephew's lead and have an interest.  Well done!

Great photo, fantastic heritage for the car, and what a beautiful SL.
