Corrosion on Main Fuse Box terminals
« on: August 31, 2022, 23:03:49 »
Dear Friends

Do not overlook your main fuse box. It is very common to have gremlins on the car due to poor contacts on it.  See attached pictures which show how aluminium torpedo fuses, which are the most common to source, even on knowledgeable brands as FLOSSER, cause galvanic corrosion on brass terminals.

This photos were taken today during the refurbishing work of one main wiring harness for a member of this community.

Best regards

Yes Todd

Definitely that keeps us busy.  Anyone knows a good source of brass fuses instead of aluminium?

Best regards
