buildable head needed

Keith, you should post the casting number on the cylinder head since there is a early and late head for the M130 983 engine.

Yes, and i would if I had it, its at some machine welder and I can get him to respond. Its a fairly early engine number tho

I have two M130 heads on the shelf, both used.  I can check condition tomorrow.  Casting numbers are 130 016 09 01 and 130 016 08 01(?).  LMK if either will work and I can check if they are rebuildable.  Jon

 Morning! Keith here. I am the guy looking for a rebuildable head for a 68-69 280sl. The bad head has been at a "welder" for 8 months and I finally got it back. It has too much corrosion to repair it feasibly. The casting # is 130-016-00 01 and it works with headgasket # 130-010-33 21. Hoping you might have a core head around?
