AC idler pulley retaining ring
« on: May 20, 2022, 00:29:00 »
When I removed the idler pulley to replace the bearing, the retaining ring bent and I need to replace it.  Does anyone know the right dimensions or clip to order?

Thanks as always!

Unless someone knows the exact size, just measure the shaft OD. That’s the nominal retaining ring size you need.

Hi Dirk.  This retaining ring actually secures the bearing in the pulley, so it's an ID (versus OD) fitment.  I can measure the depth of the groove it fits in and the ID of the pulley to determine the actual ID size for the ring but I was hoping someone on the forum already had that information.

Thanks,
Harry
