hello everyone ,

anybody tell what is the mercedes w111 220 seb  1965 rear excel ratio , as I'm planning to changh the transmission to 5 speed .

Most of those cars have 4:10 gearing which is stump pulling low.

So true.  The ratio is further aggravated by the diameter of currently available radial tires, whether on 13" or 14" rims.  I put a W108, 4.5 rearend in my coupe, just after purchasing it in April '92.  That rear-end combined with the tallest 14" tires available at the time, has made the car very enjoyable, whether in town or on the freeway (4spd manual trans model).
