Linkage bushing removal
« on: June 10, 2022, 01:10:42 »
I removed the bracket #40 and I have it on the bench.

I have a hard time removing the c clip # 31 so I can replace the bushing. It is located in a channel and I have a hard time gripping it in any way to get it out.

Any technique or special tool that I should employ?

After scratching my head and under the assumption that these were smart engineers I got the answer…

No tool required.
The c clip does not has to come out; just push the bushing and the clip gives in by entering into the groove. With sufficient push force the bushing just comes out…
