Euro Headlights

My car has "flat glass" Euro headlights. I have not checked into this in detail, but want to ask, maybe someone has a quick answer:
Can the flat lenses be mounted on the "bubble glass" headlight bodies or are the lights significantly different.
Reason: I have a set of almost new "bubble glass" complete headlight assemblies but prefer the look of the flat lenses.
