Too many toys ... Pagoda and Husqvarna in France
« on: August 20, 2021, 12:53:05 »
Dusting off the Husky after having it spend 2 years locked up under cover in the 1800's barn in the background. Sharing space with the equally treated Pagoda (we could not make it to France due to the pandemic). Have exercised the Pagoda, now it's the bike's turn. In addition to these two, we use two Volvos when in France and luckily all seem to have weathered the 2-year lockdown well. Except the A/C stopped working on both Volvos ...

Congrats that you got to your toys - finally.

I was hoping to finally get down to our property this weekend but apparently the US border will be closed another month to Canadians.   Hoping all is well, as I use "non ethanol" gas as a rule in all my infernal combustion toys and tools.  I guess I will miss crabbing season one more year.

They should really let us car people across the border - don't they know the typical vintage car enthusiast is anti social - All I wanna do is drive my car, sail my boats or ride my bike.

Bienvenu au club  Welcome to the pump refurbishing best place  i France may be ? ;) i told Mr Beck  (injection pump super mechanic ) that he must have in his work shop YOUR pump ....! he has 5 pumps waiting for overhaul. i went there after a great phone call and decided to leave my car there , so i started a long 600 miles journey during the night so i arrived in his garage at a decent time  ;) i visited all his work shop and saw all the control machines and other old cars waiting there for mechanic adjustments. I was glad to spend 2 hours there and talk about these Pagodes that he knew very specifically.
PS  your video Utube show the same mechanic approach i have with my old cars... ;)

Hello,

I will add one to the "2 wheelers and pagoda" trend.

I bought some mopeds last year and by some piece of luck, the little Honda got the same nr as the merc, at ten 10 years distance. (In France, you can't choose your nr, it's competely random). They not exactly the same model year : 70 and 71, but close enough.

I had my first HARLEY DAVIDSON back in 1997/1998 and already a nice Peugeot 306 convertible…

As highly incredible, as it was they only had one letter difference, one was R the other T…. Both were 8233 (R)(T)-F 13

Simply incredible…😅😅😅
