inner fender grommet color
« on: August 17, 2021, 19:58:18 »
The inner fender grommets in my '71 280SL are missing and I'd like to replace them. The paint on the car is light beige with tobacco brown interior/wheel covers/hard and soft tops. I only found a set for sale from Vintage Euro Parts, but in the picture they're blue (I figured they'd be black). Before I consider purchasing, what is the proper color for these grommets in this car built in October 1970 /

They are not missing. They were never installed.

I am not 100 percent sure but I think you should have the in the lower “Frame” rail and rear reinforcement most likely painted body color.
