Gear stick slack
« on: June 02, 2021, 21:14:54 »
This joint is where the gear lever attaches to and has the 2 nylon washers on each side. There is a fair amount of slack here even with new nylon washers. Is there a fix? I assume I just find a really thin nylon washer to take up the slack??  I don't think i want to over tighten the bolt...
Thanks for any help!

I squeeze the ends of the shifter tube a little in a vise until any play is reduced.
