'66 230SL power steering pump
« on: May 19, 2021, 11:56:12 »
Hi my '66 230SL has sprung a power steering leak at the box. We are actually a motor dealer ourselves with our own workshops (albeit commercial vehicles) . We have bought the repair kit which consist of multiple seals and gaskets but have now drawn a blank on stripping the box any further. Would anyone have more info on this or an exploded diagram on the set up. OR plan B .... does anyone know of a specialist in the UK who could refurb our box. Many thanks in advance

The picture you are showing is of the steering "gear" not the "pump".

Aggg my apologies . I'm dealing with modern stuff too much my terminology was wrong the its a leak at the steering box not the pump . Initial post amended accordingly.
