Some feedback on these seat belt guides.
They are very nice and a good upgrade from the plastic holders that I had before.
I have retractable belts and my previous holders (MB, plastic) kept coming apart, a pita for a daily driver.
These holders are simple, sturdy, elegant and fit well. Nice and tight and I had to use a bit of silicone grease to slide them on.

The design is handed, and from your picture it looks like you have mounted them on opposit hand.  If you change over, you will get the belt even closer to your shoulder.

Does the belt slip into the loop somehow and not removal of the belt is required?

Correct, it slips in / out in an easy hand move, but remain in the loop as long as you do not intentionally remove it.
