I noticed I am described as a Junior member.  I don't see that designation,  I see associate and full.  Sorry if I missed something here but I have not intended to be other than a full member.  Comment or direction is appreciated.  Thanks

You are a full member, junior level. Once you pass 50 posts, you become a full member, regular level. Then senior, silver, gold, platinum, possibly more! As you gain in grades, you may gain in (moral and/or technical) authority, but there is no command and control structure (except for a few not too nasty board members) :D

Our group, club and forums survive--or more accurately thrive--with consistent contributions. Those who contribute help the overall process. With no contributions, there is no forum, and no forum, we may as well disappear.

So--there is a reward (it's what we call in English, an "attaboy" or a pat on the back) where the contributions are rewarded. I don't know anyone (with the possible exception so discussed here with Mike Simon  ;)) who tries to just gain prominence by posting; it's an organic thing that happens over time by people who come to the site regularly, read the posts, share their own experience and continue to do that.

We have a large number of people--both full and associate members--who have never made a single post! Not even one to introduce themselves or tell us about their car, their interest in one, or similar.

Despite the reference to precious metal (gold silver etc) there's no monetary value in such designation...
