Fit? Or correct?  They are definitely not correct. I seem to remember someone telling me that one could fit a 107 seat in a 113 but definitely not correct.

thank you for the reply
yes the question is fit,
my buddy has an sl and i may buy it. it's missing the seats.
and probably other parts. he had it "restorer" years ago and the fellow died.
the reciever of the property would not let any parts go.

I have to leave the definite answer to those who know for sure, but I think the 107 seats are too wide. There is not much room in the W113 between the door sills and the tranny tunnel

Yes. I personally don’t know if the 107 seat would fit or not.

Now, I have a driver’s side seat frame that I might be willing to sell and I believe I know where to get a passenger seat frame.

Both seats frames are missing the hardware that connects the seat to the back. You would have to acquire that separately.

Pm me if interested.

There is a pair of very decent w113 seats on eBay right now. Florida, I think.   Grab these for $900 and pick them up later.

They are in California. The price seems to be in line with what another member paid for a pair with all the hardware 5 years ago. They are missing the headrests but those could be picked up on eBay for around $100 a piece.

Mrfatboy - you had to make me look.    We are probably looking at different seats.  Here are the ones in Florida

Mike,
Yes, they fit - at least somehow.
The seller of my 280 (113) seats placed R107 seats in his 1968 280 before. So, it must have been working somehow. I "saw" the result....; doesn't look too terrible.  ???

But why do you want to go that way? AFAIK you have finalized some impressive restoration results....,
and 107 seats in a  113 will clearly reduce the (sales or market) value.
IMHO: don't.
Go the way the others recommend,
try to catch a set of correct 113 seats.
It will pay off on the long run.

Good luck with the purchase,

Achim
